Malt extract is a viscous amber liquid with characteristic malt flavor and sweet taste. Sorghum malt extract is produced by concentrating malt wort to 80% solid concentration. Malt extract has wide application in brewing, energy food & drinks, confectioneries, pharmaceutical preparations etc. A 75 Ton/day capacity Malt Extract plant, is in its final stages of installation and expected to go on stream by 2017.

Food & Agro offer grain storage, and cleaning facilities to intending customers. Present 25,000MT storage facility is equipped with 3-stage cleaning.

Sorghum germs and rootlets make very nutritious animal feed. Use of this feed in proper combination with other feeds enhances accelerated growth of animals like pigs and other domesticated animals.

Malt degerming waste and other grain wastes are excellent ingredients for compost manures for Organic farming.

SPENT GRAIN  Rich in grain fibres, protein and minerals as well as residual malt extract and maltose syrup, spent grain from Food & Agro brewhouse is a very nutritious feed for all animals and fisheries.
