Food, Agro & Allied Industries Limited, individually and under Sona Group, participates in various social, economic and environmental developmental activities in Nigeria. These include:

• Food, Agro and Allied Industries Limited partners with USAID/MARKETS in uplifting the rural economy through development of Sorghum production and creation of markets for Sorghum farmers.
• Provision of potable water, financing eye-testing and free glasses in various communities.
• Adoption of various environmental-friendly steps in the factory i.e, (1) Use of Gas (in place of Diesel/Black oil) for generators and boilers, (2) Condensate recovery, (3) Waste heat recovery to reduce emissions.
