Malt extract is a viscous amber liquid with characteristic malt flavor and sweet taste. Sorghum malt extract is produced by concentrating malt wort to 80% solid concentration. Malt extract has wide application in brewing, energy food & drinks, confectioneries, pharmaceutical preparations etc. A 75 Ton/day capacity Malt Extract plant, is in its final stages of installation and expected to go on stream by 2017.

Malt degerming waste and other grain wastes are excellent ingredients for compost manures for Organic farming.
